Robert B. Sayers of Treasure Island,FL and Harwich, MA passed away on July 24,2016 in South Pasadena,FL. He is survived by his brother John of North Haven and the loves of his life, his niece Beth (John) Van Slyke of Seattle, WA and his nephew Mark (Kelly) Sayers of Stamford. He is also survived by his grand nephew, John R. Van Slyke IV. He was born in New Haven to John H. and Veronica Gleason Sayers and was a graduate of Boston College and received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Simmons College. He was employed by the General Accounting Office as an auditor and subsequently by Lifespan Health System . Bob was a loving brother and uncle and will be missed. The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning , August 3 from 10:00 until 11:00 at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will following St. Marys Cemetery. www.siskbrothers.com
