In Wallingford, March 8, 2022 James V. Puleo 77, of Bethany passed away suddenly after a long battle of illnesses and physical complications. The beloved husband of Veronica Klimaszewski Puleo, and father of Lisa Puleo of Hamden, Andre Ordonez of Bethany and AnnMarie Puleo of Bethany. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Tyler James, Abigail Rose, Chester Nathan Alexander, Alex, Enzo, and Ellie. He is fondly remembered by family members for his weekend routine of recycling and breakfast at Jerry’s Luncheonette. Jim was a skier, tennis pro, and an avid reader of James Patterson books and James Bond movies. Predeceased by a brother Stephen Puleo. James was born in New Haven June 19, 1944 son of the late Charles and Annette Dilella Puleo. Mr. Puleo proudly served his Country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. America. Visitation hours will begin Saturday, March 12 at 9 a.m., directly followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd. Woodbridge. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Clark Memorial Library 538 Amity Rd. Bethany, CT. 06524.
