Eileen Carey (McGarry) Greenblatt 88, formerly of Hamden passed on February 12, 2013 at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington. Eileen was born in New Haven December 25, 1924 daughter of the late John & Eileen Kelley McGarry. Sister to Patricia A. McGarry of Hamden, Donald J. McGarry of FL and is the beloved mother to William (Riyoko) Carey of San Francisco, CA and Robyn (James) Carey Jones of W. Simsbury, and step mother to Mark (Susan) Greenblatt of Salem, MA, Paul (Jane) Greenblatt of Freedom, NH and Ellen (Gary) Rowland of Hamden. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Christopher C. Jones, Kenna C. Jones, Gregory Rowland, Bryan Rowland, Joshua Greenblatt, Bethany Goodrich and Jannah Greenblatt-Gabr. She is predeceased by her husbands William T. Carey and Abe Greenblatt, her grandson David C. Jones and brother John M. McGarry. Funeral services were conducted privately by Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden.
