Helen I. McGough

Helen I. McGough formerly of Hamden died peacefully at the home of her daughter Mary Ellen ( Michael) Perlowich in Fla. She was born in Brooklyn NY on 3/9/1928. She is predeceased by her parents Bernard A. & Mae McGee Igoe of Brooklyn , her 3 brothers James, John & Leonard Igoe of CA, & her husband James E McGough. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Christine ( Brian) Snow, Adam & Andrew Perlowich all of Fla and 2 great-grandsons Nicolas & Tyler Snow. Life long friends Sandra & Edward Beardsley & family & The Nesdale family of CT. Helen was a caregiver & friend by nature. She is also predeceased by George McCarthy, Charlie Nesdale, Brian Nesdale, Connor Kusmit & of recent Perin W Diana with whom she spent the last several years. Helen is retired from the Iron Workers Local # 424 where she devoted many years to the job & people she loved. Her Funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden, Saturday at 10:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions to a charity of one’s choice. www.siskbrothers.com
