Mary C. Fallon of Cornelius, N.C. passed away peacefully on January 16, 2013 at Olde Knox Commons in Huntersville, N.C at the age of 94 with her family by her side. Mrs. Fallon was the wife of the late Harold F. Fallon formerly of East Haven, CT. Mary was born in CT on January 8, 1919 the daughter of Thomas and Mary Hickey Conway. She was a retired employee of the State of Connecticut. Following the death of her husband Mary relocated to Cornelius, N.C. with her daughters and their families. Mary is survived by her two daughters Marion F. Williams and Frances E. Fallon of Cornelius, N.C. her two sons Harold F. Fallon, Jr. (Lucille) of Durham, CT and Thomas V. Fallon (Sally) of East Haven, CT, a brother John (Bud) Conway of New Haven, CT and sister-in-law Mary Conway of East Haven, CT. twelve grandchildren, Paul T. Vergnetti (Debbie); James S. McGuire (Karin); Ellen M. Loncz (Frank); Lisa V. DeBeradino (Michael); Ryan J. Williams (fiancé’ Pamela Hamilton) all of North Carolina; Jennifer M. Hartleb (Michael) of South Carolina; Meghan A. Fallon and Christen Roy (Jeffrey); Lisa Ventrelli (Tony) all of Middletown, CT, Matthew T. Fallon and Louis S. Fallon of East Haven, CT and Marc Diamonte of Manchester. Mary is also survived by great-grandchildren P.J., Amanda and Kyle Vergnetti, Danielle, Joey and Hunter DeBerardino; Katharine, Hannah and Alexandra Hartleb; Patrick (Casey) and Matthew (Brady) McGuire; Miller Loncz; Nico Vosine; Tyler and Aiden Roy; Sophia and Talia Ventrelli, Ashton, Charles, Mario and Paul Diamonte; Jaedyn Fallon and many loving nieces and nephews and special friends Carolyn Beston, Karin and David Bunnell, Jeanne Hines and Rosalie Forni. Mary is predeceased by her parents Mary and Thomas Conway, husband of over 60 years Harold, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Mitchell, brothers James and Thomas Conway; grandson Christopher Fallon and daughter-in-law Ellin M. Fallon. Mrs. Fallon was an active member and past president of the New Haven Council of Catholic Women; a past board member of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Woman, a member and past president of the New Haven Emblem Club (Elks Lodge #25). Mary was an active member of Saint Francis Church in New Haven as well as the past president of their Altar Society. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, January 20th from 4 pm to 7pm at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home at 3105 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 21st at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Road, East Haven, CT, burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
