Ethel Horvath Passick of 315 Eastern Street, New Haven, CT died on December 4th at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. The widow of Joseph V. Passick, she was a lifelong New Haven, CT resident. Ethel was born in New Haven, CT on February 24, 1915, daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne Benedek Horvath. She leaves one son, Richard J. Passick of West Haven, CT and one granddaughter Valerie S. Passick of Winthrop, MA. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret E. Allen of Hamden, CT and Mary H. Madigan of South Dartmouth, MA. She leaves one nephew, Donald R. Allen (Joan) of Milford, CT and was pre-deceased by nephew, George H. Allen (Leatrice) of Hamden, CT. Before retirement she worked for the U.S. Treasury Department's Procurement Division. Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Monday at 11:45 am, Mass of Christian Burial at 12:15 pm in St. Francis Church, Ferry St. New Haven. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will Monday 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
