Florence Taylor

In Wallingford November 11, 2012, Florence (Crosson) Taylor 93, of Wallingford, formerly of Northford. Wife of the late Robert E. Taylor. Loving mother of Jeffrey Crosson (Gwen) of Cheshire, James Brosnan (Phyllis) of Wallingford and Cheryl Crosson Mill (Bill) of Middletown. Also survived by her 7 cherished grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Loretta Keeler. Mrs. Taylor was born in New Haven June 20, 1919 daughter of the late Harry and Loretta (Coleman) Bostrom. Florence had worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Carrier Air Conditioning and Bender Plumbing. She was a graduate of Stone Business Academy, was past president of the North Branford Democratic Women's Club, former secretary of the North Branford Democratic Town Committee and was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. Her Funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Thursday at 9:30 am, Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 6 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to Animal Haven 89 Mill Rd. North Haven, 06473. www.siskbrothers.com
