In Wallingford, October 6, 2012 Marsha J. Wilenski, 61, of Hamden. Loving mother of Elizabeth Strucaly-Dudley and son in law Robert of Wallingford, sister of Roberta Connolly (Roger) of Hamden and Dorothy Gesino (Jack Paul) of Hamden, aunt of Meaghan, Emily and Joshua Gesino. She is also survived by her companion Ken Sherrick of Middletown his daughter Alison Went (David) their children Ethan and Molly, Ken's son Mark Sherrick (Katie) and their daughter Lily. Marsha was born in New Haven May 17, 1951 daughter of the late Teddy C. and Harriet Kort Wilenski. Prior to her retirement in 2008 she was an art teacher at Berlin High School. Marsha was a talented artist that loved knitting and even during her illness knitted hats for the homeless and afgans for the sick. She fought a courageous battle against cancer, always optimistic and brave. Marsha believed the impact someone has on the world is not measured by what they leave behind but rather by the lives they touched and left an impression on. Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Thursday at 9:30 am, Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
